I am an active childminder, ventuing out on a daily basis on outings ranging from the Aquarium and Pennywell Farm to the beach or Saltram as well as being regular visitors at our many local parks. We regularly visit the local library and attend several toddler and childminder groups. An example of our daily routine can be found here.
I organise a wide range of activities that are varied to stimulate all ages including:

As well as two indoor playrooms I have an enclosed garden with a wide variety of toys including a sand pit, a ball pool, a bouncy castle. We also enjoy more natural projects such as growing catterpillars and planting vegetables.
We have a very busy morning and arrangements for comfortable, quiet rest times or naps are therefore made for children who need them.
I aim to work with parents, ensuring they get a complete picture of their child's day. I complete a daily diary with pictures and descriptions of what the children have been up to as well as compiling scrapbooks and learning journeys for each child to keep. I have also started a blog to enable parents to view more pictures of their children in action - this has proved to be very successful!
